Learners will demonstrate knowledge of the suns chemical composition, structure and its job as part of the solar system.
 
Subject Matter Content Standard: 
Earth Science Standard # 5 

a. Students know the Sun, an average star, is the central and largest body in the solar system and is composed primarily of hydrogen and helium.

Assessment:  In what ways did the use of the Internet promote student learning? The Internet created more possibilities for students to explore and learn. It further allowed students to review photos, video and information posted currently with subject matter presented interestingly.

How will you assess student learning with this assignment?  The assessment tool I will use for this lesson is a rubric that will cover the standards as a reference to what is expected of student to know.
